Welcome!

Hi, I'm Asunción Gómez! I'm passionate about algorithms and data structures, and I've started a PhD in this field at Inria and LIX / École Polytechnique. I recently completed my Master's degree in Computer Science with honors at the University of Chile. Feel free to contact me! Here is my CV.

Inria and LIX/Ecole Polytechnique. (2026 - )
PhD in Computer Science
PhD Position Towards discovering information from very heterogeneous data sources in a data lake environment as successfully reached the interview phase. My advisors are Prof. Ioana Manolescu and Madhulika Mohanty.
University of Chile. (2023 - 2025)
Master in Computer Science
My research focuses on algorithms and data structures, particularly compact representations and efficient query processing. In my Master's thesis, I explored gradual retrieval, ranked enumeration, and lazy evaluation of graph database joins, using qdags (Arroyuelo et al. 2022), a compact representation of K2-trees. My advisor was Prof. Gonzalo Navarro.
Millennium Institute Foundational Research on Data. (2023 - 2025)
Master's student
